Rory has taken his act all around the world. He has appeared frequently on radio and television and achieved legendary status in France with his epic homage to Eric Cantona.

Twenty years on the national stand-up circuit have established **Rory Motion** as one of our most popular and innovative performers. He developed his stage skills in the late 80's and early 90's, including an acclaimed national tour with Frank Skinner. Rory's instinct for poetry, song and story has made him a regular contributor to Radios 4 & 5.

In his French-speaking persona, Raymond Bizarre, Rory enjoyed a network radio hit in France with his epic homage to Eric Cantona, and in a triumphant accolade for the Englishman abroad, the disc was played before international matches at the Parc de Princes on several occasions.

In 2004 he travelled to the remote shores of Lake Malawi, in Mozambique, and performed to different villages in the Swahili dialect, Chi Nyanja. The results of this remarkable adventure were recorded in a programme called 'Hi Nyanja', for Radio 4.

Rory has performed at every Glastonbury Festival since 1989. Perhaps because of this, he has pronounced himself ready to scale the Everest heights of Burrow Mump and brave the scrutiny of The Ebenezer.
